Ori Zur – CEO
Ori brings over 20 years of experience in technology and hotel security, leading the vision and development of MS SHIFT. Prior to founding the company in 2005, he worked across leading hotel brands in New York City, gaining firsthand insight into daily operational challenges. In 2003, while at The Westin New York at Times Square, Ori identified the need for a unified platform to streamline hotel operations and security. This vision became the foundation of MS SHIFT — an all-in-one system designed to improve efficiency, visibility, and control across hotel departments. Today, Ori continues to drive innovation, delivering a modern, scalable platform trusted by hotels worldwide.
Gary Morgan – VP of Technology
Gary brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality technology, including senior IT leadership roles at Marriott International at both corporate and property levels. He spent 15 years as Director of IT for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, leading technology strategy and operations across a global portfolio. Gary has successfully delivered system implementations, integrations, and new hotel openings for more than 30 luxury and full-service properties, as well as major acquisition conversions. Earlier in his career, he was the primary developer of Miracle, a group sales and conference services platform. Gary is a respected leader and mentor in hospitality technology, known for driving innovation and operational excellence.
Benjamin Rommel – Lead Software Engineer
Benjamin is a Lead Software Engineer with extensive experience building complex systems across automotive, legal, and hospitality industries. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Heidelberg University and has led international, distributed development teams. Benjamin has delivered high-impact solutions ranging from vehicle diagnostics and calibration software to multi-platform mobile applications, web systems, and payment platforms. He combines hands-on development expertise with technical leadership, driving scalable and innovative solutions across MS SHIFT’s platform. His focus is on building robust, high-performance systems that support enterprise-level operations.
Eddie Chan – Director of IT
Eddie brings over 15 years of experience at MS SHIFT, leading IT, engineering, and product development. He oversees system architecture, infrastructure, security, and compliance, ensuring a scalable and high-performing platform. Eddie has led the implementation of MS SHIFT across hundreds of properties worldwide, delivering reliable and enterprise-grade solutions. He manages the development team, driving initiatives from cloud migration to the delivery of mobile applications on iOS and Android. Eddie holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stony Brook University.
Scott Ostro - Director of Business Development
Scott Ostro is a results-driven business development leader with over 20 years of experience in enterprise sales, SaaS, and technology solutions. He currently serves as Director of Business Development at MS Shift, where he drives revenue growth, manages enterprise accounts, and expands partnerships across leading hospitality brands. Scott has a strong background in ERP solutions and consultative selling, consistently aligning technology with operational needs to deliver value. Prior to MS Shift, he held senior sales roles at Alluvia and Avant-Garde Technologies, where he successfully built client relationships and exceeded sales targets. Known for his strategic mindset and ability to close complex deals, Scott brings a proven track record of scaling sales operations and driving long-term growth.
Judd Markowitz – Director of People & Finance
Judd is a New York State licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management. As Director of People & Finance, he oversees financial operations, compliance, and internal processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and organizational alignment. Judd plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through financial insight and operational oversight. He is committed to maintaining strong internal controls while supporting the growth and success of both the team and the business. His leadership reflects a focus on integrity, accountability, and long-term stability.
