Ori Zur - CEO

Ori used his 20 plus years of technological expertise and security knowledge background to create and develop the systems by MS Shift. Prior to him founding MS Shift in 2005, Ori worked in several well-known branded hotels in New York City. In 2003, while working at The Westin New York at Times Square Hotel, he began thinking about how an all-inclusive program for a hotel could help solve many of the operational challenges that many departments faced daily. This laid the fundamental principle for the development of MS Shift, the most innovative, easy to use and comprehensive hotel security software company in the world.

Gary Morgan - VP of Technology

Gary is a hospitality veteran with 30 years of experience as a senior level IT professional with Marriott International at both the corporate and site level including 15 years as the Director of IT for all of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels. He has successfully led system installations and integrations of new hotel openings for more than 30 Luxury and Full-Service hotels as well the integration and conversion for major acquisitions. Prior to Marriott, he was the primary developer of Miracle, the Group Sales and Conference Services software from Florian Corporation in the late 1980s. Gary is a leader and mentor to many in the field of Hospitality Technology.

Benjamin Rommel - Lead Software Engineer

Benjamin Rommel is an experienced team lead and software engineer with a strong background in developing complex systems across industries including automotive, legal software, and hospitality. With a Master's degree in computer science from Heidelberg University, he has led international distributed teams, founded his own successful game development studio, and contributed to high-impact projects across the world ranging from vehicle diagnostics and calibration software to multi- platform mobile applications, websites, and payment platforms. His unique combination of hands-on development expertise and strategic oversight positions him as a forward-thinking lead software engineer with a passion for innovation.

Eddie Chan - Director of IT

Eddie has been with MS Shift for over 15 years. He oversees all major product development and releases as well as manages the company’s key Infrastructure, information security, and compliance. Eddie has successfully implemented MS Shift software at hundreds of properties across the globe. He also supervises our top-notch development team; turning our clients’ visions and requests into reality with projects ranging from cloud migration to the development of the MS Shift mobile application for Android and iOS. Eddie has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stony Brook University.

Alyssa Stokes - Director of Customer Success

As Director of Customer Success, Alyssa leads with a strong client-first philosophy and a deep understanding of how to drive long-term value for both clients and the business. She has played a pivotal role in shaping the customer journey, supporting sales, and leading implementation efforts for top hotels across the United States and internationally. Alyssa oversees the Client Onboarding and Client Success teams, ensuring a seamless and high-touch experience at every stage of the client lifecycle. Her strategic approach focuses on strengthening client relationships, improving satisfaction and retention, and identifying opportunities for continued growth and success.

Judd Markowitz - Director of Accounting

Judd is a New York State licensed Certified Public Accountant with 10 years of experience in the accounting industry. As Director of Accounting, he leads MS Shift with a sharp focus on financial accuracy and strategic insight. His financial expertise ensures innovative solutions for complex challenges, benefiting both clients and our team. Judd upholds uncompromising integrity, ensuring every financial decision reflects our commitment to success.

Murat Bashelvaci - Head of People and Culture

With 17 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Murat brings a strategic, people-first approach to building high- performing teams. As Director of HR, he specializes in partnering with and coaching managers to drive success through recruiting, retention, and organizational development. Murat’s strength lies in developing top talent pipelines while fostering lasting, trust-based relationships with candidates and stakeholders. He is a natural presenter and strategic thinker, and known for staying calm under pressure and finding resourceful solutions.
