While working at The Westin New York at Times Square, he saw the daily cost of disconnected operations — paper logs, siloed systems and no shared visibility — and set out to build a single platform that gives every front-line team real-time visibility.

In 2005, Ori Zur developed the first version of MS SHIFT to address a critical challenge in hotel operations: the fragmentation of information across departments.
